2015 Holiday Letter
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hi All!
Relationship
Helen and I have been together for 3 1/2 years and our love for each other keeps growing everyday. Helen is continuing to clean out her house in Texas. This is taking longer than hoped as she can only work on it for a few weeks at a time every couple of months. She has over 30 years of treasures in the house and it is just taking time. Once the house has been emptied, she'll sell it and the move to California will be permanent.Helen's Mom
Helen's Mom is in a nursing home in Florida. She is doing well, though she is bound to a wheelchair and has Alzheimer's. Helen visits with her Mom for a couple of weeks every few months.Travel this year
WoW! What a year for travel! March: Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan June: Vancouver and Victoria, Canada July: Driving from Florida to Texas September: San Diego, Houston, Beeville (TX) and Corpus Christi (TX) November: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brugge, Cologne, Mosel river valley, Stuttgart December: Clarkesville, Vero Beach and Fort Lauderdale Helen and I would like to thank our many friends (over 24) who went out of their way to visit with us while we were in their area. One friend, Peter, even drove us from Cologne to Stuttgart, a 4 hour drive!!!!Favorite Trips this Year
Our favorites were, Europe, Asia, Canada and driving from Florida to Texas. In Europe, we saw many windmills in the The Netherlands. In Tokyo, we met many good friends and even was able to find the house I lived in, 60 years ago! In Canada, we had a great vacation with my brother and Rosie. Finally, the drive from Florida to Texas found us visiting the National Naval Aviation Museum and home of the Blue Angels in Pensacola. WoW! What an exciting time we had.Visitors this year
In March, Rich and his son Mike dropped by for a day visit. In April, Peter, from Germany dropped by for a few days. In June, brother Wayne and Rosie visited for a week. Then in August, John and Ginger spent a day with us in San Francisco. Thank you to all who came by for a visit! Cozy Construction Due to all of my travel, very little was completed on the Cozy this year. However, we did start a new and big chapter, building the wings. I'm hoping 2016 will be more productive and we are able to complete construction of the wings.Theatre
Both Helen and I were members of the crew for "The Sound of Music". I was the run crew chief and Helen was on the costume crew.I hope your year was as eventful and as exciting as mine and...
I wish you a merry holiday season and a happy New Year!
Love,
Charles & Helen
